The Realities, Response and Recovery From EMP, CME and Cyber-Attack — Facts, Fiction and Confusion about CME, EMP, Cyber-Attack and Hardware Vulnerability
Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) has been bandied about, and debated for years. There is a lot of conflicting information in publications, and on the Internet. Is it real, and are the effects as bad as some people say? If so, how do you get your head around such an extremely destructive event?
We’ll explore the rational and realities of this manmade catastrophe along with it’s close (but different) natural cousin, Coronal Mass Ejection (CME). Here’s a challenge you might want to try and grasp — when you lump the possibility of EMP, CME or Cyber-Attack to the power-grid happening in the next 10 years, the probability is 99.99% that it WILL happen! So, is that just a fear-mongering, gloom-and-doom statement intended to get you to buy a bunch of stuff — or is it a reality? You really ought to know.
If that’s true, you should learn how to properly prepare, and not find yourself terrified in a cold, dark future. If that prediction is baloney, then don’t bother yourself with it.
