One of the key goals of provident living is to become a self-reliant household interdependent within a self-reliant community — Being part of a community is living in common-unity with people around you. But, just how does one go about crating common-unity in preparation for future challenges.
Tonight’s program will be a part of that answer. It’s a process of getting to know the people around you and learning to work together in non-invasive ways for the common good of all. If you have activities and programs in your area that promote self-reliant skills, products and activities, it is important that you participate and get to know those around you with the same interests. If these types of programs and activities are not readily known of in your community, then go on the hunt for them. Some such activities may be very low profile or even private, so ask around until you have exhausted all possibilities. If nothing is available, get with some of the people you have found that have similar interests and start it up. Don’t just wait for it to happen, make it happen. After all it’s for the greater good of your household and those around you.
